Amerikastudientagungen der Jahre 1993 - 2002

The 1999 Fachleiter Conference marked the 30th anniversary of the Embassy's national teacher training in Germany. Its goal is to assemble a group of highly trained and highly motivated teacher trainers (Fachleiter), curriculum planners for secondary schools, representatives of ministries of education, textbook writers, and educators. This group is exposed to first-rate and up-to-date information on American society and values from an interdisciplinary viewpoint. The conference atmophere is one of intense exchange with American specialists in the field of politics, economics, and American studies.
